I also added two smaller rooms on top, which became storage units. Moving up one floor, I continued to build the staircase shaft, as well as another rectangular room:

Beside it, I added a simple square room: I also added an “arm” sticking out the tower, which acts as a mini roof for the entrance. This will be the main method of travel around the tower. To start, I made the base of a vertical staircase (on the left side of the following image). After that, your Terraria wizard tower build is practically completed! Room Ideas Now using this wall pattern, it’s time to get creative with making your tower “shell”! Once I explain some of the rooms I built, I’ll go into detail on the roof designs. So keep this in mind when building your walls. This is because the walls used to make the design don’t count as solid blocks. One downside to this wall pattern is that the game won’t consider your rooms as acceptable housing, meaning NPC’s won’t live in the tower. It’s important to use these exact paint colours, otherwise you won’t get a consistent colour throughout. I painted the bricks with grey paint, and the background walls with white paint. On top of that, I painted these blocks, because I wanted clean white walls instead of purple ones. You then continue this pattern for all the walls. This gives an interesting texture to the wall. I topped that single wall off with another 3 bricks. I placed 3 ebonstone bricks along the bottom row, then I placed one ebonstone brick wall in the centre of the three. Two of these in a furnace will make one ebonstone brick. The walls were made out of ebonstone bricks, which is made from the ebonstone blocks found in the corruption. The walls were a little more complicated. For the roof, I used red dynasty shingles (bought from the traveling merchant) and painted them purple. Once you find your preferred location, you will build the “shell” of the tower, or the exterior.

To make the island, I simply dug out a crater, and used that dirt/stone to form said island: I decided to build mine on a flying island. The first thing you’ll need to do is find where you want to build your tower. Let’s get started! Finding the Right Spot
#Simple mage tower minecraft plans how to
So, here is how to make a wizard tower in Terraria! I will show you all the blocks, walls, paints, and furniture you will need, and all you need is a bit of creativity to put it all together! This is because I did all the hard work for you (at least in terms of testing). It took me hours of messing with paint colours and block types, but all that work was worth it in the end. I say this for numerous reasons but to cut it short, the main reason why this build is my favorite is because of the sheer amount of time I put into it. Out of all the houses I’ve built in Terraria, I am confident to say that this wizard tower is by far the best (and most difficult) one yet.
